We were so close to being done with all the finishing touches. So close. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now we’re no longer quite so close. The walkway roof had a eucalyptus tree land on the roof. Thankfully, the damage is to the exterior walkway and its roof only. No other structural or cosmetic damage. The inside of the guest house and main roof were entirely untouched. The benefits of having added the walkway late, so the roof beams were external to the house. Which means, while it’s going to be a bit time consuming and complicated to fix, it’s not a disaster. It could have been so much worse. Anyone else had to deal with tree damaged roofs ? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahora ya no estamos tan cerca. El techo de la pasarela ten\u00eda un eucalipto en el techo. Afortunadamente, los da\u00f1os son solo en la pasarela exterior y su techo. Sin ning\u00fan otro da\u00f1o estructural o cosm\u00e9tico. El interior de la casa de hu\u00e9spedes y el techo principal estaban completamente intactos. Los beneficios de haber agregado la pasarela tarde, por lo que las vigas del techo eran externas a la casa. Lo que significa que, si bien va a llevar un poco de tiempo y ser\u00e1 complicado de solucionar, no es un desastre.
